I am a breathwork and mindfulness coach, who is also flawed and makes lots of mistakes, who also does comedy stuff when the mood strikes and who is also trying to manage his ADHD, whilst doing the necessary work on himself.
All this to say that I am not your guru, just a fellow human, making his way through this planet whilst trying to figure things out at the same time. I have some answers but lots more questions. Do you have answers to my questions?
But, seriously though it’s time to get transparent. I am not a fan of the snake oil salesmen who claim to have it all figured out and proceed to charge thousands of pounds for their ‘life changing’ courses. Writing experts, experts on how to become experts, how to fall in love experts, how to stay in love sexperts and how to cook the perfect fried egg (this one I am very much into FYI).
My advice is, be wary of anyone that says they have it all figured out, because as we all know, this game called life ain’t easy. And whilst I have learned some tools to help me in some areas of my life, which I share with you, by no means do I have it figured out. The only person that seemed to have cracked it was the Buddha and even he had to leave his wife and child in order to find/reach enlightenment.
Yes I can give advice on breathwork, mindfulness, cold water therapy and how to become a viral Substack success with seven paid monthly subscribers. But also know, that I am just a man baring his soul to an audience who are too distracted to read what he is writing.
So, next time you’re reading my newsletter thinking '“wow Steve has it all figured out”, just know that yes I kind of do, but I also recognise that one has to come across as relatable and humble, which is challenging when you do have it all worked out, but have to pretend that you don’t.
To summarise I am not your guru, but once I hit 10 paid subscribers, well anything is possible really.

p.s Why not share this with a friend who you think would be interested in reading my newsletter? Call it your good deed for the day.
Gary was not just a spiritual zen master, he also knew how to cook the perfect fried egg.
